So pretty

Jamaica

sunny 102 °F

I left egypt after a few days, I needed to rest and ponder about where to go next. I am actually already here. I traveled back close to home because I am almost done with my travels. I am now in Jamaica. I wanted to just relax and enjoy myself before my would travel was done. I do believe that I am going to stop somewhere else before I go back home to Colorado. I am almost done, I can't believe it! I am at the "white house" in jamaica. Its a resort on south side of Jamaica. But as I arrived to my room today, I noticed that there was a note with flowers on the bed. I read it, and I was told to go to the pool and wait for a special surprise. As I came to realize it was my boy friend! I was so happy to see him. I hadn't seen him in so long, and now that I am in Jamaica I will get to enjoy it with him! I know that he won't want to travel as much as I do, so I might do it own my own!

We have stayed at the resort for a few days, enjoying ourselves. I convinced my boyfriend to come sight seeing with me, we haven't really planned anything yet. Either way we will being taking along a lot of things, either by plane or car. We took a mini plane over to the Dunn River Falls. It is on the north part of Jamaica. We spent a lot of our time up there and we got to relax once again. We thought that we should visit one more place. We just didn't know where. We thought about it and I brought up the city, Kingston. Kingston is the capital and has pretty amazing sights to see. I was shocked on how simple it was and not that many roads to travel on.

We didn't know too much about the city we just walked around and took pictures. We somehow ran into the best museum ever. The Bob Marley Museum. It was one of the coolest places that I have been so far. Because I have grown faun of Bob throughout the years. We made a plan to head for the coast, get on a cruise ship to Mexico and then eventually go back to our home in Colorado. It will take a while to get to Mexico on a Cruise ship, but it is worth the peace and quiet we need. No matter what we do, we will eventually get home. I'm not worried about time anymore. I just want to enjoy the ride and go where the waters take me. I have had a lot of fun and have spent a lot of time in Jamaica. I am making one last stop before I head home. Playa de Carmen in Mexico. I will let you know when we get down there. We won't stay there as long as we stayed in Jamaica. I am ready to go home. But I wanted to visit 10 countries before my time up!!!

Another Stop, An Older Place

Egypt

sunny 102 °F

India was amazing, and it kept me entertained. As I thought of somewhere to go, I though about something historic, and something old. I knew that I would want to see something that was beautiful in its own way. I thought of everything, and then Egypt popped into my head. I remembered that it had cool things to visit. Tombs, and pyramids that I will be able to enjoy a lot. I never thought of my self coming here until i visited India. India opened my eyes to old architecture that people actually built with out any machines at all. I don't know exactly what I am going to do. I know that I will go and view some tombs and pyramids. I heard about the Pyramids of Giza, they are the oldest and largest pyramids. They are also on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World list. These three pyramids are an amazing sight to see. I don't really know what there is to do in egypt. I will look around and try to find something to see!

I went to see what there was and I wanted to go to the beach, I went to Uccello beach its on an island off the cost of egypt. They had really pretty places, and I got to go on a boat and see the coast where I can am staying for the night. The Red Sea is very beautiful and blue, and it was so fun to be on. The sea is one great sight. I don't know what I am going to do. I know that I am going to sit around for a while relax and enjoy this beautiful place. I want to go to another country or two before I go back home! I just have to find out where I am going to go. My diary entry isn't that long for Egypt because I have been so busy and I don't know if I could explain everything in a blog. I am keeping it short and simple until I leave. I am going to be staying in my resort.

At the resort on the coast of the Red Sea, I am able to relax and enjoy myself I get to see everything that I want. I get to have food and drinks brought to me, I feel like a queen, I am glad that I get to just lounge around with my lap top and write, I love it. I know that I am going to fall asleep soon so I can get rest for tomorrow. Nothing going on, just need to get back on track with my sleep. I tend to get very tired lately, so I might stay here for a little longer so I have enough energy to go travel two more places. I'm off for a while! Bye!!!

Something New

India

semi-overcast 95 °F

I had an amazing time in Amsterdam. It was one of the best times I had by myself in a long time. I did met up with a lot of people though. I couldn't think of where to go. I didn't think I would be able to branch out and go any weird country. But I decided that India seems like that it would be fun to go to. I don't know much about India, but I know that the Taj Mahal is there. I know that will be one of the first things thats I go and see. I just need to explore the country and see what it has for me. :-)

The Taj Mahal is located in Agra, India. It is made of marble. It is one of the new seven wonders of the world. I was lucy because I got to go on the Yamuna River. This river is behind the Taj Mahal. I got to see the beautiful building from the river. Now I know that I can have a lot of fun being in such a different country. I still don't know what else to do in India, but I have a lot of time to think about it. I have the rest of the night to rest and think about where I am going to go. I am at my hotel about to find out where to go tomorrow. I might just take a day for rest and than go and venture out on the country.

I heard about the Agra fort. I heard that it was built just like the Taj Mahal. It is just a few thousand feet from the Taj Mahal. The construction of this fort was started by Mughal Emperor Akbar and later on additional building were added by his son and grandson. The fort complex has numerous building of importance like the Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Jehangir’s Palace, Deewane-E-Am and Deewane-E-Khas. The building was very beautiful it reminded me of the the marble from the Taj Mahal. There were some different buildings at Agra fort. That weren't anything like the Taj Mahal. I am staying in New Delhi, the capital of India. Which is close to both the Taj Mahal and Agra fort. I was going to just go get a car and go drive to the cost of India. It will be a long drive and might take all night but I wanna go see what the beaches look like out here. I'm off to have a very long day.

I finally made it here, it took me about 30 hours. I found a resort, called the Resort that I am going to stay at until i leave. It is right off the cost of Aksa Beach in Mumbai. It is very beautiful. I feel so relaxed. It is one of the best feelings I have had since I was in Amsterdam! I took some pictures of the beach and one of the resort. I decided that I am going to stay here the rest of the day and tomorrow, than i am off to somewhere new. India surprised me. I am glad that I came down here or the 4 days that I did. I was hesitant at first, but I am so glad that I stayed and enjoyed it. I will always remember India, for its beautiful scenery!

Amsterdam!

Hopefully I have a great time

sunny 80 °F

As I arrived to Amsterdam, I seemed to learn about it. No matter what I did I always heard people talking about how Amsterdam is their capital and the largest city in the Netherlands. It got its name from where it was located. Dam is the river and Amstel is where the Dam Square is today. They got big by trading. No matter what it is Amsterdam is a place to just let go and have fun with yourself. Being a care free spirt. I am going to go an visit the city today so that I can find out what I should do tonight for fun. I will most likely venture out of the city tomorrow so I can see other beautiful sights in the Netherlands.

As I was venturing the city, I saw a place that i would love to eat at. It was right on the port of Amsterdam. It is a very large building. It is called Sticking Nemo Horeca. The building looks like half of a ship and it has amazing food. The word nemo means nothing. Which puts people between reality and fantasty, or what they were trying to make it seem like. I have a few picture of this, it is quite interesting. As I walked around the city for a while, I started to get tired. I noticed that mostly everyone was riding bikes. I knew that I would most likely be able to rent one. You wouldn't believe how much easier it is to get around Amsterdam on a bike than walking around. I have plenty of pictures.

The buildings here were amazing, I didn't know that such weird buildings could be so beautiful. It seems like the less space the houses or buildings take up, the better. I saw that the buildings were tall and not very wide. They were right next to each other with no space at all. I have also had a lot of fun just shopping around at stores that are close by. I was kind of surprised about all the graffiti everywhere. It was something that made the city a little different.

I never came up with what I wanted to do for the night, but walking the city and looking around is a lot of fun its self. If I find somewhere to eat or get a drink, I will most likely go and eat there just so I can get a break from traveling the city. I loved Amsterdam, the people were not mean at all. Hmm I wonder why! People were actually curtious. I don't want to leave Amsterdam. But I want to see what else the Netherlands has to offer me. Good Day!!

As I woke up, I realized that The Netherlands have a lot of castles, the hard part was picking one close the Amsterdam and one that I really wanted to see. I saw in a travelers guide a lot near here and one caught my eye. Egmond Castle, maybe because it is so massive. Only part of the "rentmeester" tower is still standing. It was built in 1203 and it was a circular castle with the diameter of 27 meters. A new castle was being added to it in 1285 and its shape was rectangular. This castle was destroyed in 1321. A harbor and a moat was then built to protect the new castle. It eventually got burned down and was again re built. Then the castle was excavated in 1930. This castle went threw a lot. I have pictures of its remaining parts!

I am going to be leaving the Netherlands for something more tropical. I don't know what yet, but I will keep you posted. Here are some facts on the Netherlands!

Oh my!

New Zealand.

overcast 65 °F

After I left Australia I decided to take a trip over to New Zealand. I didn't really know anything about it, but I know that they had a few sights that people always talked about. I know that there are a lot of beautiful places to see in New Zealand. I went and saw Milford Sound. If you don't know where this is located its located on the South island of New Zealand. I took a boat out onto the Milford Sound, it was an amazing sight to see. I also heard of a place called Doubtful sound, which is sort of the same thing located somewhere else. It is to the south of Milford Sound, both of the "sounds" are part of the Fiordland National Park. I took a lot of pictures of these.

From all the excitement of Milford and Doubtful Sound, I needed to just relax and take a breather, I didn't have the much to do other than go back to my hotel, I didn't know what to eat so I just looked around, and guess what I found, a Mc Donalds! They menus are a little different from back home, but it was something I was used to. I know that I feel like I am getting home sick, I guess its because I'm so far away and alone. I know that when I go somewhere with more excitement that I will enjoy myself a lot more. Not that these places aren't beautiful, just not much to do when you are alone. Anyways, I am going to go on with my travel to Tongariro National Park.

This National Park has the highest mountain on the North Island, the park is one of the highlight places to visit while you are in New Zealand. This Park became the first cultural landscape on the UNESCO world Heritage list in 1993. After all my excitement with nature i think that it is time to go to the city and see if I can get some excitement in my day! I heard from another tourist that the Sky Tower. Its located in downtown Auckland. It is over 1,076 ft tall. It is the tallest standing structure on the southern hemisphere. There is an option to go sky diving from the tower, and I took it. It was one of the most thrilling things I have ever done in my life. There is also a casino and even centre, so I got to gamble some of my money away. I felt like I was home again! I know I miss home, I just have a while longer to travel so I have to plan out what will be fun to see and fun to my needs! I am staying downtown tonight!!! So I will update you on where I am going to go tomorrow for my next travel destination.

As I remembered I wanted to visit Amsterdam, I forgot that I was in that part of the world about a month ago. So now I have to fly back and go to the Netherlands. Thank goodness that my ticket doesn't matter where I go! I guess I need to rest from my night on the town. Than I will take off to Amsterdam! *the weed capital*

I hope I like it..

Australia!

semi-overcast 100 °F

In my last blog entry I couldn't decide where I wanted to go, I ended up going to Australia, just like I said. I have only been here for a couple hours and I'm getting some rest. Its about 10 am here. I really don't know anything about Australia or where to travel. I guess I'll just have to branch out and wonder around until I find something I like. :-)

I of course decided to go and visit the Sydney Opera House, it is an amazing structure. I didn't see an opera, because I don't like them. I saw the opera house in many different angles. I also go to see Luna Park from the harbor. Luna Park is a beautiful thrill park. I was on a boat just enjoying my self when I remembered that I have a lot of places to go today! So now I'm on my way to go and see the Chinese Garden of Friendship! I heard that it was an amazing sight to see. I'll take pictures and let you know how it was.

It was a very relaxing place to sit and take pictures. I already miss it. I was going to see what was near by and I saw darling harbor. I don't know what its going to be like, or if it will even be worth my time. Its already 5 pm and I wanted to get back to my hotel by at least 9. But I'll see if that works. I don't know if I will like what I am about to see. I know tomorrow I will have a plan on what I am going to do. So I don't disapoint myself. When I was at the harbor I was shocked that the Sydney Convention Center was along the harbor. I thought it was kind of strange, but there wasn't that much else. Just beautiful scenery. I also got to see Sydneys monorail, I'll end of riding that somewhere tomorrow I hope!!!!

After a long day, I need to get some rest at my hotel. its 9:30, I got here just around 9. I saw 3 beautiful places, two that i haven't heard of until today! Im really glad I didn't have a plan today, but after I am finished writing for the night, I am going to brain storm what I will do tomorrow! I have my pictures posted now.

I decided that I was going to finish my trip by seeing the great barrier reef. Before that, I am going to see that rock!!! Ayers rock, thats what they call it but the literal name for it is Uluru. its crazy. I know. The rocj has caves, water holes and ancient paintings. It is listed as a World Heritage Site. I took the time to clime to the "top" of the rock and I got a picture of the landmark on it. Its like a compass with different facts on it. I only have few pictures because I was just exploring it in so many different ways today. My last stop before I pack up and leave Australia is the Great Barrier Reef. As I visited Ayers Rock, I knew that I saw one of the greatest land marks on Earth, I know that it is going to take me a while to travel to the reef. So I am going to rest on the card ride over there.

There was so much to see in the reef. I actually got to go on cruise, and on that mini cruise, we got to go diving to what's living in the reef. It was one of the greatest experiances of my life. I had fun every second of it. I know that I never want to leave this place! I know that I will come back and visit it again. I have a long flight tomorrow to New Zealand. Well the flight is going to be way shorter than the one from Italy to here! I will keep you posted on what I am going to be doing in New Zealand.

Where to?

Spain, I suppose!

sunny 88 °F

I decided to go to Spain after I finished up seeing Italy and the Colosseum. I am very excited about visiting spain, I am actually on the plain right now. I guess I like the culture of spain and I believe that I will enjoy a lot of the historical places in Spain. I already know what my first stop is going to be. The beautiful Barcelona! I have about 7 more hours on my flight, so I won't arrive until night time. So I will be going to book a hotel right now. Somewhere close to Barcelona I hope!!!! I will let you know what I see tomorrow after I travel threw Barcelona!

Barcelona was spectacular! I went on the Barcelona Estacio de Franca, its the second busiest railways station of the city. I also saw a building that I thought was cool. Its called the Torre Uruinaona, it was first constructed in 1973. I got a picture of it looking up. Its pretty neat. I went hiking above the city of Barcelona. It was beautiful, I got only a few pictures because I was so busy looking around that I forgot about my camera! I have a lot more that I want to see, I was thinking about going to Madrid, Spain to see all of the beautiful buildings.

When I got to Madrid, I ran into a beautiful park, its called Retiro Park. It is something that has many green things with a walk way to enjoy it all. I have plenty of picture of this large park, it was one of the most georgous things i have seen. I spent most of my day here, so I don't have anything else to really tell you guys. There will be more traveling tomorrow, and I will have to part my ways from this beautiful park! My image upload doesn't want to work today, so 5 of my park pictures aren't up yet. I have one or two more places that I want to visit today!!! I'll keep you posted.

I had to take a plane over to the Balearic Islands, they are very beautiful, they are east of Spain I flew into the Palma Air Port at around 3:20 pm. Nothing really special about the airport, just very ordinary. I just wanted to come here because of the amazing views they have. I have a couple pictures of the air port, so if anyone wants to check it out they can. They actually have lawn chairs so you can relax in the air port, I thought it was quite funny. I am off to see the beautiful island. I got to see the Bellver Castle, it was an odd peace of work, but it was still something to see. I have a couple pictures of it, and views of Palma, the city from the roof top.

After visiting the Bellver Castle, I decided to go and relax and enjoy my last day in Spain before I travel somewhere else! I was on Portals bay the rest of the day and it was one of the most relaxing places ever. I think this will help me decide where I am going to go next in my travels, I was thinking Australia, but I don't know just yet. So this will be my last entry until I arrive in the next country!

Fly Away

Italy

sunny 66 °F

I decided I saw enough of London, i thought it was time to go and fly away to Italy, I don't know what I am going to go and see, but I will keep you posted as I venture around Italy!

My first stop was the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I was amazed that it was so large and it has yet to fall. It was constructed in 1173 and due to poor foundation it began to lean. The tower leans to the southwest. It took 177 years to complete and it was built in 3 stages. I still dont know that much about Italy, so I am going to venture around and see what there is to see. I posted my leaning tower of pisa photos. So check them out.

I decided to make my travel a little more broad. After I saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I went and took a nap in some lovely park that I wish I knew the name of. People around Italy do that very often. I decided to go to some beautiful country part of Italy. Tuscany, it was beautiful, just seeing all the different types of land around me. I know one picture that is my favorite is the one of the sunset over Tuscany. It is just amazing. I spent a long time of my day over here and I was afraid I wasn't going to make it back to my hotel in time. I am here now, and I am going to figure out one more place to visit tomorrow before I pack up and decide where to go next!

Today may be my last day in Italy because I get very bored with places fast, not that there isn't a lot to visit, I just don't feel like I have the time to fully get what I want out of Italy, So I was going to travel away somewhere else. I am going to see what I can visit today before I get on the plane and fly somewhere else.

Of course the Colosseum!! I forgot about this magnificent place, I glad I thought about seeing this. I have plenty of pictures. It was originally the Flavian Amphitheater. It is an amazing place to see. I have a lot of pictures and I have learned a lot about it. I know that I am missing a lot by leaving Italy so soon but I want to make sure that I see other things around the world before my round ticket expires! I posted pictures of course.
I have some facts about Italy that I have learned from my stay here.

The Population of Italy is 57,998,000
Languages are Italian, German and French
The Government is Republic

Around The World

London Travel

sunny 46 °F

I arrived in London today around 7 am. I have a lot planned for the week I have in London. There are many things that I want to see while I am in London. Today, my first choice was to see the London Eye. The largest wheel in the world. I was very excited when I got to ride on it today. It was a long wait but it was well worth it. As I move on with my day, I will update my blog and post pictures. I am going to go a few more places today.

Im back, I have traveled to see Big Ben and I have a lot of great pictures. All the people going and seeing Big Ben surprised me. I didn't realize that it would be so busy there. I spent at least an hour just taking pictures of Big Ben. I have some great pictures that i will post at the end of the day. I'm off to go venture somewhere else.

As I figured out where I wanted to go, I decided to get some food. A fellow Brit told me to go find some fish and chips, the best thing in London. I loved it and I'm glad to took a little break before I went to visit the Tower of London. The Tower of London has many historical facts, it sees over 20 thousand visitors a month. This place is where people used to be be-headed for crimes the committed. This attraction was amazing. I also have pictures of this.

I have the pictures posted now, but I am going to head off to my hotel and get some shut eye.
